I recently submitted changes to the USA/Canada DTV scan tables at [LinuxTV], included Bay Area-specific updates. These new tables have been merged now (thanks Mauro Carvalho), and should help your scans take less time and waste less energy in the process :).
The updates were long due and include:
- Use of latest FCC data
- Remove spectrum decommissioned in 2020
- Use "canonical" center frequencies (lower edge + 3MHz) instead of adding the +28.615kHz offset used in USA/Canada till the Analog Low Power TV Service (LPTV)] sunset of July 2021
Download and use the new tables if you are trying to produce a channel configuration file to follow DTV instructions for GStreamer and other Linux DTV programs. Like the ones I posted here some time ago.
